How do we ask for an expedite decision?
I would most likely accept an offer fr U of Chicago, but want to hv an informed decision by weighing decision from CLS.
Still nothing from them until now. Should I ask for an expedite decision from CLS or just drop my application from CLS and accept the offer from U of Chicago.
Thx.

For an expedited decision you have to attach official documentation from the other uni with a clear deadline visible on it. Even then a timely decision is not guaranteed to you.
Personally I feel this is quite unfair to the other university(s). But yeah that's the procedure.

I requested an expedite decision from CLS since my deadline at UoC was about to expire. You have to attach the offer of admission. If I were you, I would probably request for it even if i knew that i'd be headed to Chicago anyway (I also knew that I preferred Chicago).

Hi, was admitted on the 3rd of April.
Complete application email never came though.
Best of luck to those still waiting! Was considering dropping CLS altogether to meet my NYU deadline when I got the decision, so the hope's still there :))

i used to have an indian passport but i am from singapore.....
maybe they are deciding by regions? Cause they must be having quotas for each region if not each county?

Did anyone who applied for an expedited decision get a reply yet?
We just have to attach the admission letters from other universities, right?

Applied in December, 12th but Columbia requested some additional documents and my application was finally complete in mid-February. Still waiting and they state that they will release their decisions until the end of April. Thus, the answer to your question may be April, 30th.
