Hello everyone, last Friday I applied for an expediteddecision and I got admitted today! I am very happy I will definitely accept the offer since Columbia has always been my number one choice. Good luck everyone.

I received an email yesterday asking me whether I could call them today.. I don't know whether that's a good or bad sign, seems like all of you got answers via email..
Maybe they want to tell you that you're chosen for some awesome scolarship :))) Keep us posted and good luck

I really don't understand their announcement method... :/ Rejection within few hours from request for expedite decision? Obviously they new already that they will reject you- why not announce it one month ago to spare you from this anxiety?? And then you waiting 2 weeks for expedite decision??
There really is no pattern... I've requested it on Tuesday and still no news... I have deadline for NYU on Tuesday... :(
Ah... I hate this... Have to study for my Bar exam and instead I'm wasting serious time checking e-mail/reading this thread...

I'm just curious- has anyone ever heard of anyone receiving Appel Fellowship? :D I guess since the pool is huge (both LLM and JSD students) it's hard to get it, but nobody has ever mentioned getting it, so I guess JSD are more sucessfull :/

My friend was an Appel Fellow for 2011-12. He was in the LLM program. He was given a partial scholarship through Appel.
