Update:
I was wrong about the secret setting. I asked two friends of mine: One could see the secret Facebook group, the other one couldn't. It appears FB is having issues with secret group visibility. So mdm31 was right, I'll open the group again ... and with this discussion in place everyone knows about the privacy issue and can choose freely if it feels OK already.

I have just received an acceptance offer by email. I believe they do admissions on a rolling basis throughout March.
Congratz!! you received the e-mail just now or before? when did you apply/ received application complete mail?
Half an hour ago.
I applied on the deadline - December 15. I received my application complete email two days ago, actually. Clearly they moved rather fast!
Hi...Just looked up ur previous posts....Have you attended Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship? Probably you have very good credentials, thats why they moved so fast with you. And will you choose to attend CLS?

Yes, I read for the BCL last year. I'm not sure about CLS yet - it depends, I suppose, on what Harvard and Yale say as well.

I think you're right. I applied for early review and was deferred to the regular cycle - and still have not heard back.
I have an offer from LSE but will wait it out until I hear back from others.
Hi,
How long did you have to wait for the LSE offer from the time that you received the 4th email? Thanks.

@gautambhatia1988
You would probably get into HLS and also YLS. I have come across rhodes guys from India who have got into American LLM programs after BCL. If you have impressed CLS you have as good a chance with HLS. One question: Do have academic and teaching plans indicated in your appl or some other plans? Coz otherwise I see it unlikely that american schools will offer a LLM seat after a BCL

Yes, I did indicate my future plans for a Phd and eventually a career in academia in my applications. Considering that I studied jurisprudence and the philosophical foundations of the common law at Oxford, I doubt I could have written much else. :)

Has everyone heard from CLS? I received my application complete email sometime in December and still have not heard anything from them but it seems that they have sent out a lot of their decisions. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

It seems that some applicants have just received offers on February 28th and March 1st. When did you guys receive the application complete notification? Thank you.
Posted Mar 02, 2013 13:19
I received the application complete email on Jan 11 (but I sent my application on Nov 15...) and the acceptance email on Feb 28.

Hello,
I am wondering if anybody knows whether CLS will care if you have a deadline coming up at a different school.
Has anybody emailed CLS to tell them something like this? Thanks!

Hey guys. Has anyone who has been accepted received anything beyond their acceptance emails yet? I'm asking because in my acceptance email they just said details like the deadline for accepting their offer, the amount of deposit to be paid etc will be communicated later. Just wondering if anyone has any idea about these details?

Did you apply in the regular cycle? I was accepted in the early review and I only received one email with the deadline, link to the admitted students website, etc. I also received a package by mail.

I applied in the regular cycle, yes. I received an email with the link to the admitted students website, but no dates. Haven't received my mail package yet. To quote their email, "We hope to make financial aid decisions soon and will notify you as soon as we have made a decision on your application. At that time we will also let you know when your tuition deposit will be due."
Not sure when they plan on doing this.

Hi
I also applied in the regular cycle, and heard back in late January that I was accepted. My acceptance email also had the same wording as Greengills's email, and the package which arrived a few days later also said the same thing. It took them about a month to come back to me with their financial aid decision and they have given me until 25 March to accept.
Hope this helps!

Hey Ali22, thanks a lot for the clarification. Guess I have to wait for a month then, and hopefully get another month after that to respond to their offer.
Could you tell me how soon after the acceptance email did you get the package in the mail?

Hi! It arrived about 2 business days later, which was impressive since I live on the other side of the world! I suspect you won't need to wait a month - it probably took them a while to get back to me because they sent me an offer early and so they may have wanted to wait to see the quality of other applicants before deciding about financial aid.
