Hey guys;
I still haven't got an "application completed" mail, though I did get an "application submitted" mail. LSAC confirms that my details have been sent across. I'm a little confused on where you check on status of the application though, I'm not able to sign into my old account. Is there a separate page? I vaguely remember one, but I can't find the address in my history or in my mails. Can someone help?

Unfortunately there is no way to check your CLS app status.

Any news from CLS?
Posted Feb 11, 2013 10:39
Has anyone who has been admitted to CLS heard about financial aid yet, or when they need to accept by?
I was admitted a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet.

When your application is reviewed (by sometime in April or May), we will email you to let you know whether we will be extending an offer to you.
Thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,"

I asked for clairification. And here is the answer!
"Dear
I understand your question now. You will receive an email as soon as your application and supporting documents have been collected by myself of one of my colleagues - this email will let you know we received your application and will alert you if you are missing any of your documents. You will later receive a second email that we will send after your file has been reviewed by and a decision has been made.
At this point, we are still in the process of compiling applications and sending out emails to alert applicants that their file is complete, so if you have not heard from us yet, there is no need for concern.
I hope this answers everything for you.

Don't think that it is reasonable that they will send decisions in April or May. In the 'application complete' email they sent me two months ago, they said the following phrase:
"Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis through the end of April."
I believe the decisions are coming every day, because it is on a rolling basis.

Since more law schools are going to release their decisions by the en of Feb/mid March, I find very annoying CLS will do in April May! it semms to late dont you think?

Especially taking into account that NY bar recommends you submit documents already in April...
Posted Feb 13, 2013 16:31
For those interested: I completed my application on 16 December 2012 and just received an application complete e-mail.
Posted Feb 13, 2013 16:38
I submitted my application on Nov 30 and received application complete on Dec 20. Still waiting...
Posted Feb 13, 2013 18:06
I still didn't get this completed message and it really starts to freak me out! I understand that until you get it, your application cannot be reviewed by the Committee...
I also wanted to ask you whether or not you have heard if rejection decisions are already out. I've actually seen one in the application tracker...
Patience to all! =)

Received my "app complete" email a couple of hours back .. you HAVE to be kidding me.
Posted Feb 14, 2013 16:18
I was probably the last guy to submit the application. I submitted it on 17 dec at 23.45 hrs New York time.
I received the appl complete email a few hrs back.
It seems all appl complete emails are out and all applications must be up for review on "rolling" basis.

It's really taking a long time for them to start sending out decisions...I applied through the early review program, but got deferred...........this wait is really nerve-wracking...
Does anyone know the average of people accepted, deferred or rejected in Columbia's early review? I really would like to know better what my odds are...

For anyone interested, I applied on 11/11/2012... got a materials missing email on 12/5/2012 and then application complete email on 12/10/2012. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that received my application complete email a while ago!
Not sure if that's a good sign regarding admission decisions.. lol...
Fingers crossed for everyone!
