Dilorom, Thank's a lot for this info! I'm surprised it's taking them so long with the expedited decisions. Someone earlier in this thread said that they made an expedited decision within 2 days and that they only accepted the requests one week before the actual deadline. My deadline for another school is next Monday and I need my decision by the end of this week... Will send the request out today.

Yesterday, I received email from CLS saying that they are sorry that they could not expedite my decision by my deadline and they will have all results out by the end of April. And whoever applied for the HRF, they will review fellowship applications after that.

I have to notice that there is something very strange happening with the CLS admissions this year.

Finally, they emailed me, but rejected me :(
It says "To date this year's applicant pool is the most highly qualified in our history; competition for admission has never been more intense."

Does anyone have any news from CLS?

I received today an e-mail placing me on the waiting list.

I take this opportunity to kindly ask those who accepted the offer and paid the deposit, but now decided to go to another university, to inform Columbia as soon as possible.

Many of us have Columbia as first choice and are waiting (anxiously) for a spot.
