Thank you LLM2013P! I hope you get the good news from CLS soon :) I received the e-mail last night.
It's a tough choice for me indeed. I'd be happy at all three law schools but after all, Harvard is Harvard :)) I still have financial problems to overcome though...

Hi, TOEFL 108 (24 on reading). I graduated with honors and have been working for almost three years in an international law firm. While in law school, I did two internships.
Hope this helps! Best of luck!

Yousen, From what I've heard CLS tends to look at professional experience more than some other law schools I have considered. I was told that the majority of the class has 2-6 years of experience. However, I'm pretty sure that there are exceptions. I also think that internships are a good sign that you are on track to practice law. You can still get some experience before you apply/enroll. I would say that you should go for it anyway in case your application will look good in other aspects.

I just emailed them with the expidited decision request. Are there many people still waiting for their decisions?
Posted Apr 08, 2013 21:23
I haven't heard back from them either (although I did not request an expedited decision). Haven't even heard back whether I was waitlisted. Seems odd to me, but happy to wait longer if they need more time..

I haven't heard anything either.

I'm still waiting. A couple of friends received decisions on friday.
Posted Apr 08, 2013 21:47
it is hard to wait, so i called them last week, and been told that by the end of this month they should have sent all the decisions. Few more weeks. I am so nervous. I wish i would know what it is already. Even if it is is rejection ((

I'm still waiting as well and will be requesting an expedited decision tomorrow due to a deadline at another law school.
Posted Apr 09, 2013 04:14
My deadline is tomorrow to another university. I asked for expedite decision more than ten days ago and did not get any email from them. Reminded them again a week before. This time they said that my application was put in front of the admission committee and I should get an update by my deadline. And also they said that they can't guarantee expedite decisions. It seems that is true and I did not get my result today, so I sent my acceptance letter to the other university.
Did anyone here apply for the Human Rights Fellowship?
