Hi JC,
I've read in another post you're not intending to specialize during your LLM. What will then guide your choice of courses?
My field of interest is labor&employment law. I will probably choose my courses in the field of corporate and IP/IT law.

Me too.
I am interested in corporate law, but also interested in international private law. Someone recommended me the law and technology program.
Has someone looked for accommodation?
Just curious: where are you working?.

Hi Matias,
I have started to apply for accomodations via UC Berkeley's housing center. Another application and new administrative burden!
I am working in Belgium.
I understand you're from Germany. Correct?
Are you now working or still at university?
Looking forward to meeting you in August.

Hi Roger,
Well, I'll take courses in litigation, procedure, criminal law (my areas of specialization), but I just don't want to take ONLY litigation courses and will probably also take general (like L1's) courses.
BTW, has any admitted student received the full package from Boalt yet? I haven't.
If you wanna get in touch with, please note you can PM me anytime Roger.
Cheers!

How does Boalt notify their admissions? Via email? I got this email yesterday, saying that since they did not receive a response to their offer of admission they asumed I'm not going and they sent me their best wishes in the future and so on..... The thing is... I never got any admissions offer! Not even an email... And I got my oackages from NYU and Georgetown without any trouble... Anyway, I'm attending NYU this fall, so I guess it doesn't matter but I would have loved to see their admission's offer =(

Hi everybody
Hi Roger,
I m from Argentina and working for a law firm (started in 2000).
still haven't received the package from Boalt.
As far as I ve seen, Manville appartments seem to be the best option for housing near campus. Am I right or is it that I know nothing about housing?.
Another question: how old are all of you?
Best,
MF

Hi all,
for housing, I consult UC Berkeley's website http://www.housing.berkeley.edu/livingatcal/
I am applying for student family housing as I come with partner and child (still to be born). I don't think Manville appartments may be used for family housing.
I'm 30.
And you all?
Best

Hi all,
I've just confirmed my position by SIR form. In the reply mail, they say they will finish admission process before next steps and we'll receive something in the next few weeks.
It may be a form letter, but it seems we have to still wait...

Hi, folks
I am aslo attending the 2007 LLM course at Boalt Hall. As a matter of fact, I was admitted in year 2006 but I was deferred to this year's course (complcated story)...
I am a Taiwan attorney and specialize in IP law. I am applying for family housing because I am expecting a baby. I need to complete my application by submitting a proof of admission which I have not received yet.
Hope to seeing you soon.
