Hi there. When I turned down my admission for the professional track Berkeley wrote back and told me admission decisions for the traditional track will be released in early March. Usually they are released in April, I'm unsure why they are releasing them early? Maybe there have been less applicants this year.

I do not know the reason, but I hope this early releasing will occur in our favor. I have the e-mail from Berkeley says "Admissions decisions will be released in March." as well.

I know! It is so hard to wait, I am constantly checking my email... But we still won't hear from Berkeley for over a month. I am hypothetically warring over which school to go to if I get in to all of them, just so impatient to make the decision.

Well, yeah, I am kinda cellphone-psycho right now since I update my inbox almost every second.
Making a decision is easy for me when all schools I applied admit my applications :)

Is Berkeley your first choice? What's your second?

That's correct; Berkeley is at the top of my choices. UCLA is the second one. My aim is being an American lawyer in the U.S., so sitting in California Bar is foremost.

What about you?

Yes mine are the same!! I've got into USC which is my third choice so I'm happy to have a backup at least. But I would be tempted to chose UCLA over Berkeley if they offer a significant scholarship. They also have more public interest courses which appeals to me.

Considering some unis request admitted students to decline or confirm their seat by early april, it's just as good Berkeley is releasing its results by march!

You're right! As soon as I saw on my email from USC that they wanted to hear by April... I was concerned. You don't want to place a bet on getting into Berkeley.

If you review Berkeley's application tracker for the previous years, you'll see that they give their decisions on or around the 14th March - always on a Friday.

This year March 11th is a Friday. Their decisions also are not rolling, so we should all hear on the same day.
