I received my admission letter too with an April 15 deadline, and no mention of any aid, so can I assume that I haven't been offered any financial aid

yes, indeed.

Yes you can;-)

Has someone called the admission office? If I get no response by monday morning I will call on the afternoon. Not because I am nervous but because I really need to take an informed decision by the end of next week.

To all concerned with scholarships -

I was admitted to the LL.M Tax program in February. Unfortunately, I received no scholarship offer. I called the financial aid office and that office directed me to the office of graduate affairs. I emailed the office twice to ask whether there was an appeals process for scholarship consideration. Unfortunately, there is not. Therefore, if you did not receive scholarship information with your admissions letter and accompanying materials, you can safely assume that you did not get a scholarship. I hope this information helped.

Thanks.
Is there any chance that they'd make new scholarship offers after the first round of offerees have declined.

I am not sure about that. Although I sure hope that they consider doing that.

What they told me is that, if you have received your admission letter without a scholarship offer, there is no chance you will get one.

I still wonder what they will do in case some offerees turn their scholarships down.

Plenty of admission reports... but could be of people who asked for a scholarship and were admitted, but did not obtained such scholarship.

I know NYU responds first to people who asked for a scholarship. I dont know of any person admitted who did not requested a scolarship.

Hello. I was admitted on 3 March to the Traditional LL.M programme without requesting scholarship with reply date 15th April. I wish everyone good luck with your NYU results!

Hi everyone. I have accepted NYU's admission offer (together with the Vanderbilt full tuition scholarship award). Both Yale and Harvard have confirmed to me that they have not finished the review of the applications (well, at least in respect of my own application), and I am not willing to wait for their decisions and waive the Vanderbilt scholarship award. I have electronically signed the Intention to Enroll form and paid the deposit of US$500 just a while ago.

Separately, would anyone of you know whether we would get a written confirmation of the enrollment by email? Although I did receive an email confirmation of my deposit payment, I noticed the Admitted Students website did not allow me to print the electronically signed Intention to Enroll form nor did I receive any copy of such signed form by email.

And I was talking about ppl stating in other threads that they have been admitted without scholarship and without aking for it...and as far as I know NYU answers first to ppl that have been awarded with a scholarship no matter if they have asked for it or not...if you have asked for and not received one, you will not be informed before others...

Lol. I just called the graduate admissions office. They say they will be sending out decisions through out this month.

These decisions are not made in any specific order.

Once you accept an offer, you must withdraw from other schools to which you applied and where a decision has not yet been rendered. Doing so removes your application from the process and allows the institution to ascertain its enrollment needs.
