Hm, I will not wait any longer if I do not hear from them by friday...It sucks big time, but it seems as if they to not expedite the process even if you have deadlines...and last but not least, I want to tsart the visa application process etc.

Hi Xview. For the avoidance of any issues, I also sent an email to Mr. Timothy Stanne confirming my decision to accept NYU's offer. I attached the Payment Confirmation for their reference.

As regards my pending applications and admission offers, yes I did formally withdraw from the admission (with Grotius Scholarship) offer of Michigan and that of Columbia. I also withdrew my application to Harvard and spoke with Yale about the same. I did this because I believe in fair play. I also believe that school branding is important for fresh JD graduates but for LLM graduates with several years of experience, the yardstick should be different.

Yes, I sent the other schools an email withdrawing (i) from all admission offers and (ii) all pending applications. I then sent all such emails to NYU before signing the Intention to Enroll form as proof of my compliance with the conditions in my NYU letter of admission dated March 1, 2010.

I have also been admitted to NYU. Since my area of interest is international economic law (trade law) how does NYU´s Trade Regulation program fare against Georgetown´s IEBL LLM?
I have also been admitted there, so I´m currently trying to make up my mind with respect to those 2 programs...

I'm really starting to think no news is bad news here. This waiting is killing me... I've been refreshing my e-mail account every two minutes today even though it's only early morning in NY now. Not very rational behaviour since as busy as they undoubtedly are at the moment, they probably haven't resorted to night shifts yet :) I'm just dying for some news.... something, anything!

i got my letter response last week monday with a half tuition Gerald Wallace scholarship...

got into the International Tax Law programme...

very excited but having worries of raising the balance of the fees... is there a chance of mine being up graded to a full one incase someone decline a full one? hope so coz without one, i dont think al manage to join...

I haven't heard from NYU but I think my supporting materials got there after the Dec 1st deadline (I was informed on Dec 12th that they had received it all). Is anyone else in this situation? I guess we have another week or so to wait...

Today they told me that as indicated in the application materials and the website, LL.M. applicants who meet the December 1st deadline will be notified of the Committee on Graduate Admissions decision in early to mid-March.

Depending on your understanding of "mid-March", we will hav to sit and wait. I suppose that by the 20th they should have responded all.
