Any news from NYU??

BCP2

I am really tired of waiting. Applied to 8 universities, 7 (except for NYU) replied already, admitted to 4, waitlisted in 2 and rejected in 1. However, NYU is my first choice. I applied on september 3rd.... THe problem is that I need to deliver my acceptance, deposit and visa documents by the end of march to my second choice.. Now, if you want to complicate things more, I haveto match my applications with the ones of my wife and she needs to respond also in a couple of weeks to her second choice.... imagine getting waitlisted by NYU... I prefer a rejection...

You already need to send the visa docs to your second choice? How's that possible without having accepted the offer?

Congrats! I'd ask what is the first letter of your family name assuming NYU is sending out admissions in that order? :P

Thanks - then I guess it's been done at random in respect of admissions without $. Crossing fingers.

Of course we do!!!!!!!!!!
Come on, it's March 5, they are supposed to tell us in the first two weeks of March.
After what I've read, my conclusion still is: it does not really matter what your surname is or when you applied, it is very difficult to tell when NYU is going to decide.
Really, I'm sorry but reading this is making me feel nervous when I really wasn't. I will come back to this board when they tell me their decision, whether it is positive or negative.
Good luck to you all, and DON'T LOSE FAITH.

Thanks for the support! I really don't know when the decision will be released. They just said it will be released when it becomes available. Don't know what does this mean..

I received my admission letter too with an April 15 deadline, and no mention of any aid, so can I assume that I haven't been offered any financial aid
