Hi,
I'm probably going to QM this year, intellectual property.
I already got an offer for accommodation at stocks court, this week i'll decide.
In case anyone wonders, I'm from Portugal (yep, that little country next to Spain), and since intellectual property pratically doesn't exist here, I'll try my luck at QM.

Hiya All,
Thanks so much for the eye opening insights into the pros and cons of both schools. I have decided to opt for LSE. I am keen on getting a LLM that will definately open great career oppourtunites for me especially in the area of Corporate/Commercial law. I do not mind the self education angle.
The discussion on "every man to himself" is kind of daunting but thanks too for warning me ahead.
Once again, many thanks.
@Du, all the best in QMUL, at this point i will no longer pursue my QMUL admissions, even though i was also offered a place at Stock Court.

Hi,
Can anybody explain me when are the LLM specializations in QM chosen - on the application stage or after the courses start. When I accepted my offer on-line they indicated that it was a LLM in International Business Law - but now I would like switch to International and Comparative Dispute Resolution.
Many thanx in advance.

Do you know anything about teaching at QM? How is it done lectures, seminars, essays or in some other ways?
Posted Jul 23, 2009 13:48
Yes about the exams...mostly it will be final exams of hours each during the month of May-June...!
Mostly you will have 2 hours lecture for each subject every week...and then loads of reading lists...so you will have to do alot of reading work before you start with the next week.
Then you will have teachers also providing you continous feed backs on your performance in the class....with detailed comments on specific aspects....also they will check your progress in the class (not assessed...but for your benefit). Also, I have heard that the teachers will go out of the way to help students who are finding it really difficult to get hold of a particular topic

I am definitely going to QM. I'll arrive on 19 September.
To those who are going, we'll meet there.
