Well, I was in a similar situation. I had to choose between Edinburgh and QMUL. My choice was Edinburgh.

IMHO, the only advantage that QMUL has over Durham and Edinburgh, is the location. London is London :D

Is anyone looking out for an accommodation in Holborn or Russell Square area ??
I didn't like the QMUL accommodation so much as I have to share facilities with others....(I like my privacy)
How about any private Accommodation...? Anyone any Idea?
Has anyone inquired about the Intercollegiate Halls ? are they good ?

I think Queen Mary is a very good choice for the following areas: dispute resolution, banking and finance, IP and corporate law. In terms of comparisons with Durham and Edinburgh Queen Mary is a far stronger in these areas because of the expertise of the staff in the areas mentioned. However the overall reputation of the other two is more prestigious (at least here in the UK). Therefore if you are truly interested in intensifying your knowledge in areas of commercial and financial law choosing Durham and Edinburgh over Queen Mary is misguided.

Also tax law at Queen Mary is also outstanding with the best reputation among all the UL colleges.

i have to attend 12 week presessional english course and i will stay at accomodation in Mile End Campus. I do want to stay Qmul accomodations.

I'm an Italian lawyer and I accepted an offer from QMUL for LLM in international business law.
Recently I applied for university accommodation, choosing the intercollegiate halls as my first choice. Now, they asked me to specify which Hall I'd prefer to stay in. I saw on the Internet all the halls' specifications but I couldn't make up my mind... does anyone have comments or advices, for example, about 'International Hall' and 'Lilian Penson Hall'?

I am from Ireland and I will be doing the LLM in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary in September.

Has anyone applied for accommodation on the Mile End Campus or elsewhere???

I have to find a place yet and not sure whether I shoud stay out in Mile End or closer to Lincoln's Inn Fields.

Does anyone recommend a place or have any ideas?
