Hey. Thanks. I have heard the same, but one should not get ones hopes up.
I have an upper second class, with two years (almost) work experience. The application was complete, with references being submitted on the 28th of October.
Will tell you how it works out. And luck for your application.

If anyone's interested: My conditional offer from KCL was more stringent than UCL's, i.e. 75% and 70% respectively for an Australian JD.

Sigh. Its a no. :(

Mine was the other way around (but only just), 64% for KCL and 65% for UCL for an English LLB.
I wonder how they decide on the offer conditions... they could be throwing darts at a board for all we know :)

Haha, yes we already discussed the merits of Essex on another thread. :D
But you have a lot of options in the UK I bet? What other schools have you applied to? And personally I think I might enjoy living in the UK.

haha :p I hold offers from southampton, queen mary and essex...I will be rejecting the southampton one thoughas they want me to answer within 30 days and if i accept i have to pay 250 pounds, but I am still waiting on my first choices so I can't!!
You should try queen mary, it's highly reputable and you won't have to wait at all, i got an offer within one day from when submitting my application :p and i heard other people getting an offer so soon :p

Nah, Essex is my first choice, since its highly reputed in Human Rights. Not looking anywhere else in the U.K anymore.
Just waiting to see what happens on the US front. :)
Cheers and goodluck.
