Oxford BCL/MJur 2013-2014

Guys, all I can say is I know someone who got a 2.2 in first year, low-mid 2.1 in second and graduated with a first. Took a year out during which he applied for the BCL and got in.
I wouldn't worry too much about what other people have done and whether or not they got in; it goes on so much more. Ranking, SoP, Essay, CV, References (possibly the biggest part?) all play their own part.
Out of interest, to the people who have been decline, were many for the BCL?
Do you think references are the biggest part?

I think they really matter; a 2.2/2.1 in first year could be a mistake, references don't lie (or shouldn't, anyway!)

I hope that person taking them to court over the "you must have £13k" rule wins, I haven't got that hahah, also that's rediculous you could easily live of less than that

Oh, well, that destroys that theory.
At this point, I'm just SO wound up by all this waiting, I just want to know once and for all and be done with it.
(Even though I'm pretty sure I'll cry a bit when the rejection inevitably comes rolling in)

Hmmm I guess this gives me some hope then, I have a low-mid 2:1 1st year but a solid First in 2nd, I guess I'll keep holding my breath haha.

Has anyone heard from Oxf in respect of MSt (in legal research)? Any outcomes?

I don't think so. May be at the same time or a bit later than those of BCL/MJur.
Good luck!
