Hi, I'm from Italy. GPA 29/30, Graduated 110/110 cum laude in last October (top 5%).

My Uni is not that prestigious (Università "Mediterranea" di Reggio Calabria) but I have spent a research term in Cambridge under the supervision of prof. Ibbetson and another research term in Max Planck Institute in Hamburg.

I have also attended two summer schools (Cam and LSE). I have a publication in English.

My referees are prof. Verdirame (KCL); prof. Ibbetson (Cam) and prof. Fabbio (my thesis supervisor). The first two have been fellows at Merton College, Oxford.

Got admitted to Cambridge LL.M. on 22nd February. Applied also to MCL and MLF.

Let's see what happens on 16th............... Fingers crossed!

Hey guys.

I received a phone call from Oxford earlier today, informing me that I had been offered a place at the MLF programme. I am absolutely thrilled!

Good luck to all of you!

Congratulations, very well done! Did you only apply to the MLF or to the BCL/MJur as well?

Thanks a lot! I really like that they are committed to releasing decisions at the date they set at the beginning of the process.

Congrats once again! Have you made up your mind about which offer you will accept yet?

Well, so far I receive the MLF and the Cambridge LL.M. offers. MLF is what I really want to do although it costs too much for my budget..... If I succeed in obtaining a scholarship, then I will accept the MLF offer... Otherwise, Cambridge LL.M. or, if they will admit me, Oxford MJur.

Your profile seems incredibly impressive and I bet you will receive all the offers. Congratulations in advance!

As for myself, a very 'old' fresh graduate-to-be in LLB, on my final semester (GPA 3.5X) and anticipated a first class honor (but no way first in the class). Studied part-time while working full time in the IT industry for more than 15 years, mostly sales role in multinational companies. At my spare time also participate in activities in the promotion of democracy and human rights in my country. Currently a vice-convenor for a local NGO for the promotion and education of democracy. Also act as campaign manager a couple of times for local democratic and human rights activist in elections. Co-authored a book in election campaign which is the first of its kind in my country.

Career-wise a bar wannabe, focusing on public law and human rights laws. Currently also received and accepted LLM offers from UCL and LSE.

I am unsure whether my credentials are good enough for oxford. But I am sure I will be great without an Oxford BCL and with an Oxford BCL I will be incomparable and stupendous.

You have better credentials than mine. Don't worry. I'm sure you'll get an offer.

:) I have the same problem as far as my GPA is concerned, (top 6%, my marks are very good but not excellent), that's why I don't really expect to get in. However, your other achievements are very impressive, I will be surprised if you don't get an offer!

Thanx osantosd. I hope so too.
I dont know that whether I have good credentials or not for oxford or for that matter any big school. Oxford really looks for great marks/grades thats a bit of a concern for me.My law schhol marking is very very stringent and hardly one or two every year get a first class honours and there are years when none get it.
