I wouldn't be worried. I'm sure they'll take into consideration your position in your class, whether or not you earned any sort of honours.

Lets hope then that Oxford has people who look for proven potential at the same time.

osantosd : lets hope so and congratulations.
Plus its my first and final attempt for a masters so a bit nervous at times with my grades and since I settle for nothing but the best, so I hope the best schools or schools i consider the best, have a place for me. Or its goodbye masters for me.

Cng1238, where are you from? With this CV you have a great chance of getting a Gates Scholarship, don't you think? Have you applied for it?
Anyone from Brazil?
Also, what is GPA? In Brazil we don't have this sort of ranking

Hi payens, I am from Hong Kong. I have not applied any scholarship and I am not sure if i am eligible for any of them. But thanks anyway, I just hope I will receive an offer even i have to borrow for it :-)
GPA stands for Grade Point Average and is used by some countries to measure academic results, it varies from country to country and often among schools. There might be a way to convert your grades to GPA, you can find some information below if you are interested.

Hey guys, for those who have been offered a place: which colleges have you chose? As for me, I've put Merton. What about you all?
Posted Mar 07, 2012 12:43
I picked Merton as well. Any idea when we might hear about colleges / scholarships?
Posted Mar 07, 2012 14:05
I didn´t really choose any, because I did not have a lot of information on the matter.
Where are all of you from? I am from Colombia.

I have no college preference. I didn't have information about Oxford's colleges either, so I didn't know which one to choose.
I'm from Ecuador.

Posted Mar 12, 2012 14:03
Sorry to hear that...could they be bringing the timeframe forward i.e. sending out both offers/rejections out at an earlier time?
Posted Mar 12, 2012 14:11
Also received a rejection. I am from Hong Kong.
Good luck to all of you!
