I think it is about time to start a group for Oxford BCL/MJur applicants. Who else has applied? Does anyone know when the decisions will be out?

Offers will presumably be made on 03/16 (according to Oxon's website).

Thanks psyfi, I couldn't spot that information on the website. According to the LLM-Guide Apptracker, in the past two years all decisions were made around March 17:

Hello! I've applied to the BCL course. Though not very hopeful! The mail confirming the applications said that the responses regarding offers will be made starting March.

M.Jur and M.Law&Fin... Let's see when the first offers come out...

Applied for MJur
Posted Feb 14, 2012 10:47
Applied for the MJur program as well. Good luck for all of us!

Is there a way to track the status of the application, or we should just wait blindly for an email?...
Posted Feb 15, 2012 16:31
I'd say wait blindly. Last year they didn't update anything until March 16, when they released ALL decisions.
Good luck!

Applied for MJur. Anyone from Brazil?

Applied for MJur, but one of my referees submitted late so I am not that hopeful. I called the Faculty of Law and they said that they will "look" at my application. By the way anyone from the Philippines who applied for MJur?

Applied for Mjur (and Cambridge LLM as well but my heart belongs to Oxford!)
Anyone from France?
Still one month of waiting... Good luck to everyone!

It seems we're all from different countries... :)

Do you guys think that a Cam LLM offer holder may ask for a quicker evaluation of his application?
Thanks :)
Thanks :)

Because your cambridge offer will lapse before oxford results?

Hey guys,
PLEASE POST YOUR STATS!
It will be really helpful to other candidates if you post your stats so they can compare and figure out their chances. Please post the following:
1. Grades - what's your average or GPA or whether it was first class or your class rank. Whatever is most descriptive for your program.
2. Country or region where you did your degree - UK, EU, US, Canada, Africa, Australia, Asia, etc.
3. Prestige of your university - Oxbridge, or one of the top in the world, or one of the top in your country, or average university.
4. Whether you have work experience or publications that make you stand out.
5. Whether you think your references were excellent and whether they attended Oxford.
6. Anything else you think had a major impact on your application.
7. Come back and tell us whether you got admitted!
Previous year's threads haven't had a lot of this info so it would be really great to start this year.

Hi guys! I graduated ranking first in class from the top law school in my country and have some work experience. I have received an offer for the MCL at Cambridge, but still awaiting a response from Oxford for the MJur Program before paying a reservation fee to Cambridge.
Did anyone receive an offer for MJur? Hope they will respond soon..

They will release decisions by March 16. They are really committed to this deadline, so you can be sure that you will hear by then.
