@ Riya,
Sorry forgot to add - I haven't been offered accommodation at LMH but have applied for university accommodation.

Don't you think it is the case to send an email to Merton?
Hmm why not? Unless Bender can give us a reason...
Sent it... As soon as I get a reply, I'll let you know...
Merton is full for Law.....

Posted May 09, 2012 14:52

@Riya,
Hi, the only thing I've done is complete the form stating my preference (room, flat, studio etc) and email it to relevant person. Had a reply to say application in progress etc but no decision as yet. I don't think the selections have been made yet regarding type of accom and allocations, but I think it's important to get application in early.

Any news re: scholarships out there?
Posted May 11, 2012 14:38
@ Mike:
Hi Mike, I looked on the Oxford website and the letters for the Clarendon scholarship have all gone out so I think anyone getting one of those should already know by now. I think decisions re college scholarships are out around the end of May.

Hello,
I was just wondering if you wouldn't mind kindly posting the link to this on the website? I have been unable to find any information as to scholarships thus far.
Is anyone else still waiting for confirmation of their college? Or am I alone in this plight?!

Re these two comments:
Is anyone else still waiting for confirmation of their college?
And
I think decisions re college scholarships are out around the end of May.
-- please remember that every college makes decisions about admission and about funding at different times, and in different ways. Don't be stressing unneccessarilly!
It's difficult to grasp completely from outside of the OX1 postcode, but please remember that the colleges are all autonomous institutions operating in different (often frustratingly different!) ways.

Thanks for clarifying!
I was referring to the *Faculty* scholarships, not the *college* ones: http://www.law.ox.ac.uk/postgraduate/scholarships.php. These should be released all at one go by the Faculty of Law.

Absolutely. I think you may have misread my message - I have absolutely no criticism of the process whatsoever. I am just interested to know how many people, like me, are yet to find out!
