Oxford 2021-2022 BCL/MSCs/MJUR/MPHIL/MLF Applicants

What is the class strength for MLF? Do they typically admit students from the waitlist?

The typical class strength for this year's cohort seems to be ~45, as mentioned in the offer I received. I would expect few of the offer holders to turn it down (other course, extenuating circumstances etc) so definitely scope for waitlisted candidates to be made offers!

Hi DexterS. Do you think BCL and Mjur outcomes will come out at the same time?

One week? 1f62b

From past threads, I was under the impression that MLF, BCL and MJUR results were sent within 3-4 days, no?

Got waitlisted for the MLF.

Does anyone know if this is just standard/curtesy procedure. I haven’t seen any rejections so it feels like this is a ‘soft’ rejection. In other words, do they place the majority of applicants on the waiting list?

I thought the results for all the courses were released at roughly the same time! We are in for a long wait 1f605

Hey guys! Do you know if MLF applicants have won the clandendon scholarship in the past? Any idea of how much is the scholarship usually granted by colleges? Thanks!

They do post the scholars for every year in a quite organised way, so I suggest you just check their pages. https://www.ox.ac.uk/clarendon/scholar-class-lists

Same here, just got emailed that I've been put on the waiting list for the MLF. Guess we'll just have to have our fingers crossed and wait it out arghhh :)

I don't think so. The admissions website expressly stated that we would hear back in 8-10 weeks. The 8 week mark would be the 19th of March.

I would assume so but I'm no authority on the matter.

Just been rejected for the MSc n Criminology and Criminal Justicei.
Now waiting for my MJUR application result. Fingers crossed!

Hi PrincessMegan. Same. I also received a rejection for the MSc

in Criminology and Criminal Justice. But I was just wondering that they responded before the 8 week deadline. Are there any chances for re evaluation of the application? Any idea?

Hi, it is by no means a "soft rejection". In fact, the chances of getting an offer from the waiting list are fairly high so don't lose hope :)
