Same! BCL applicant with the button still there

Hi, has anyone been waitlisted for the BCL yet? Also, is there anyone whose upload button for the BCL is still there, but haven't heard back anything?

Excellent choice. The Cambridge LLM is outstanding.

Hi guys — sorry for this late notice. Yesterday I got accepted to the MPhil, I feel like a pig in chardonnay. My magic button went out the day before. Good luck to you all, where there is a will there is a way.

Are any fellow applicants here choosing between the MLF/BCL/LLM (Cambridge). If so please DM I would like to bounce ideas around.

I never thought I would be so fortunate to have to make a choice between the three and I am struggling with it a bit. The BCL or LLM are obviously incredibly prestigious and are two of the most widely recognised postgrad qualifications in the world. Is it a waste of getting into the BCL/LLM to not do it and pursue the MLF?

I am leaning toward MLF because the course is genuinely unique and I wouldn't mind doing a bit more Finance than I have under my belt - but I am aware it does not carry the same 'weight' as the BCL/LLM would. Anyone in a similar position to myself it would be great to chat. I am quite overwhelmed, full of gratitude, and incredibly excited.

In terms of careers prospects, do you think the BCL opens doors that the MLF doesn't and vice versa re the MLF?

Has any MJur applicant heard anything? Last year MJur results were released about this time. I did not hear anything from other forums about MJur results though, only BCL and MLF.

I really haven't heard anything about the MJur so far so no worries! We can start worrying as soon as we see other people getting offers :)

I haven't heard anything on the MJur either, and the magic button is still there, too :)

Hi everyone! Just received an offer for the BCL. My only academic condition is to send in my transcripts. However, I do have two non-academic conditions. The first merely requires that I fill out a criminal convictions declaration.  The second says I must
"Ensure that any information submitted with, or in relation to, [my] application (whether to the University or your college) is true, genuine, accurate and complete."

Has anyone else received a similar condition? How are we supposed to go about satisfying it? Does this mean we have to send in records of all of our internships, mooting awards, publications, etc? Thanks in advance and best of luck to everyone who is still waiting.

That's a weird one. I'd email the faculty to ask for clarification.

Hey there! Don't worry about it! I looked back at my offer last year and I remember asking them about that condition and they told me that all I had to do is to upload the criminal conviction doc. Hope this helps :)

Same here. No news and The Button is still there for my MJur application. I agree that we should only worry when MJur applicants start receiving offers.

Just read this in the Oxford thread on TSR:

"Emailed an offer for Msc Software, Systems and Security this morning. My application portal upload button did not disappear."
