I also got put on the waiting list for the MJur. Does anyone know anything more about this - how many people are on etc? I don’t think I saw anything about a waiting list in last year’s thread? (: well done to everyone who got in!

I am afraid you are the third one who got one, so it might be quite a big list?

What a cruel method to follow. Rejections should have come out earlier so as to not keep one expecting bad news for an entire day.
I have to agree though, I'm not confident at all now.

Second that. You're just left hanging to a tiny bit of hope... I, too, thought I had made a strong case for myself, but guess not enough

My conditional offer says that I need to send them a transcript from my current graduate studies at KCL. However, they didn't indicate any particular grade/result I need to achieve.
Does anybody know what this mean?

Hi!! I just got a conditional offer for the MJUR too. I would love to join the whatsapp/fb group. thank you!

For those who got on the waiting list, best luck! The deadline to accept the offer is April 17th, so I guess they should contact you after that.

Best,

Virginia

I do not know for sure but I guess it only means you have to show the original document. You did provide a scanned copy of your transcript with the application right?
I got a conditional offer asking me to show the original document of my IELTS, and they already know the result, so I guess it is kind of the same.
Best luck!

Good morning everyone!
Congratulations to those who received and offer.
I want to reapply next year and I would be grateful if some of you who passed MJur/BCL can give me some advise, especially for the essay. Thank you and sorry for bothering you.

Have a nice day!

Hey all- first post here, but thought I should add that for all who are waiting don't give up hope. I just got my BCL offer about an hour ago; I had essentially resigned myself to getting a rejection tomorrow after seeing all the posts here this morning about others receiving offers.

This is an odd system to say the least--my undergraduate institution had the capacity to simultaneously distribute 4000+ acceptances and 20,000+ rejections back in 2009. Not sure why a similarly automated system isn't in place here.

But regardless acceptances are certainly still coming out, so keep checking your email and best of luck to all.

Hi guys just received a con offer stipulating that I need to get a First class degree. A stupid question here: I am from a university in Asia with a 4-point GPA system. Does that mean that I am guaranteed an entry if I keep my GPA over 3.7? My university uses a letter-grade conversion system different from most US universities so I am not sure if 3.7 would still be the cut-off line when they reexamine my grades.
Here the logic is weird. The faculty website states that your GPA should USUALLY be over 3.7 to get in (Of course mine is now). Does the condition simply mean to ‘keep up the good work’ or a good ground for future denial of my request for an uncon offer? I have heard schools like UCL stipulating conditions that are nearly impossible to achieve, and I wonder whether this would also be the case for Oxford.
