Just to update ya all :) just received an unconditional offer from LSE!!! No graduate support though:(... Anyhow, I received the fourth email on 25 December 2013, but my application was sent to Department on 7 January 2014 as it took them some time to process recommendation letters they received via EMBARK!

I am still waiting for a decision on my application. But I must say that I am not very optimistic about my chances, especially considering that my application was sent to the Department on November 1.

I submitted all information in the application for financial support on 11 January... I have no clue whether they always decide jointly or they did so in my case - I just wanted to share complete info - I know how tensed we all are now...

Hey guys! I also received an unconditional offer on 28 January. I have yet to submit my financial aid application (although I have started it), so, in my case, the decisions were not made at the same time (obviously).

I plan on waiting for the result of (at least some of) my other applications before I make a final decision - but I am very excited at the prospect of joining you guys next year!

my application has been held up coz of a problem with my recommendation letter...considering the number of offers given i think it might be too late already. congrats to you guys! early bird does catch the worm i guess ;)

Did your referees submit their recommendation via Embark? Two of my referees had trouble submitting their references (something to do with their browser) and they had to send an e-mail to tech support. They would click submit, but the references were not actually submitted. One of my referees did not even notice that the reference had not been submitted (since she clicked "submit"), and we only discovered the problem weeks after.

I have a question on my references (LSE required a second academic reference though I graduated before January 2010). I sent them an e-mail through the enquiries system and now I'm waiting for an answer. Anyway, I believe that this is the LSE's system for applicants to get in touch with them. Rgds.
