LSE - LLM 2014/2015 Applicants

It's been 10 weeks since my 4th e-mail... I found this very disrespectful from LSE...

Why is it disrespectful? They are considering your application carefully and weighing it up against the large number of other applications they have received. If you wanted a quick response you should have applied much earlier.

Give them a call! When it clocked 6 weeks without me hearing from them, i gave them a call and they were very helpful. Infact i discovered that they had dispatched my offer pack about 10 days ago but my status had not yet changed. About an hour later, the offer showed in my status!

Because they announce that "Each stage can take up to a maximum of eight weeks", it's a matter of certainty. If they need 10, 11, 20 weeks... Perfect... Just don't announce that each stage can take up to a MAXIMUM of eight weeks.

Has anybody heard anything in the last couple of weeks? Have they waitlisted anyone yet? My application is still under consideration by the department. It's been over 8 weeks since I received the 4th email, but only 6 weeks since my application was sent to the department. I just wonder if they have any places left anymore, or if they only become available if someone who was accepted declines their offer (?).

I was accepted to the LLM at Uni of Edinburgh, but still hoping to get get news from LSE :). Nerve-racking, but I guess this is what you get when you apply too late. I might just give them a call on Monday.
