I just got invitation for kira interview from UCLA. A bit surprised cause I didn't expect interview session. I wonder if anyone has gotten or already did the interview?

Hi, this is surprising for me as well, i couldn't find anything about an interview in the previous threads. Maybe its new this year, I still haven't got my invite yet. If you don't mind me asking, when did you apply?

I haven't had an invite to an interview either - applied back in October. Does anyone know what the process is like? Wondering whether a lack of an interview request is a death knell for my chances of admission! 1f631

Heyy, no issues. I applied on 16th November and i still haven't received my invite :(

The only mail i received from their end is a confirmation of receiving my application and that decisions will be sent out from Feb 2024 onwards.

Does not receiving an interview invite mean I've not cleared the initial screening?

Yes I did. there were 3 speaking questions. it was just like toefl speaking test. You will have 2 minute to answer.  I remember 2questions were about regal issues making it difficult for me to answer in a short time.

I also got the interview invitation and I applied on December 3rd. Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing haha
