I have just received an unconditional offer from UCL.
My application was completed on the 15th of February.
So, for all late applicants it seems that there is still hope!
I'm still waiting for Kings and LSE.

Hi. I have received an offer from QMUL for Comparitive and Dispute Resolution and still waiting for a response from UCL. Is QMUL honestly worth it?

Just got an offer from UCL however im not sure about the specialism i chose.. anyone know if its actually possible to change it?

QMUL is definitely a place of choice. I would have gladly pursued my LLM at QMUL if I hadn't received another offer. But I believe QMUL is really worth it and I'll advise anyone to take up a place there.

Not heard anything from LSE AND GOT I'd on 27th Feb. Their website seems to be really off.

I received my LSE ID on February 1st and have yet to hear back from them as well. But their website does say to expect a response 8 to 10 weeks from the date you receive your ID. Therefore, I have not been really expecting to hear back from them until March 29, at the earliest. So those of you that just received your ID at the end of February unfortunately likely have a bit of a wait.

I have finally received offers from UCL (8 weeks from date of application), KCL (7 weeks) and QMUL (3 weeks), all in the last few days. I wish to choose Competition Law as my specialisation. And now comes the dilemma of choosing the right university. At one hand the Competition Law LLM Course at UCL has been ranked number 1 in the world (by this website) for a the last few years, consistently. Whereas, at KCL the professors (especially Dr. Richard Whish) are authorities in this area of law.

Any assistance, leads, suggestions, contacts etc. would be highly appreciated to help me resolve this!

Personally, I would choose UCL simply because it is more prestigious. Prestige always helps when looking for jobs, and that factor should tilt your decision towards UCL given the other factors you stated.

Hi,

Any thoughts on which one to go for - KCL or UCL for finance/ banking laws? The modules for the KCL program are quite interesting. Conversely, the UCL banking and finance course has heavy focus on regulation which is something I am not very keen on. However, I have realized (happy to be corrected though) UCL seems to have better reputation and is considered more prestigious.
