Right,

Hi guys. Popping here to shed some light on LSE. Have had a word with the Graduate Recruitment department. Have asked why I haven't heard from them since I submitted the app about 9 weeks ago. They said that although a decision has been made on my application, it's not final. Also, I have been told that within 8 weeks they send the rejections. Hence, I asked if I can imply from her statement if everything is alright with my app and the reason for the delay is because it has not been rejected and takes a bit longer to get the final decision as I applied for funding. She said that although she can't explicitly give an answer, my app is okay and by Christmas or January (in worst case scenario) I will get a formal one.

N.B.: I don't guarantee even for myself if I have been accepted, but maybe my case helps you.

Best of luck to everyone!

Thanks! It is helpful to know that they send rejections within 8 weeks. It's only been a month since I submitted my app..

Best of luck to you, although it seems your chances are fairly good!

One more thing - would you please state what is your current app status on LSE 4 YOU? Under consideration by the department or?

Hey Sabina,

Thank you for thoughts, I do appreciate them. The status is the following: Your application is currently under consideration by the department. We cannot provide any further information at this time. This information is dynamically linked to our computer system. As soon as a decision is made, it will be displayed here. The length of time taken to come to a decision varies widely between departments and depending on the number of applications. Typically it can take eight weeks for a department to reach a final decision - popular courses may take longer.

Best of luck to you as well and fingers crossed for everyone!

Hi guys.

I applied last week to UCL and King's, and today to LSE so I am currently expecting a response from the admissions office. My referees have already submitted their reference.

I was wondering about the deadline to submit the english tests but I could not find anything on the websites of the universities. Does anybody know if there is a specific date for this or if this just has to be submitted before enrolling? (I know that for Chevening the last day is on 12th july 2018.)

Best regards

Hey guys,

Just an update - I called the admissions office, they said not to expect an answer before the winter break - so only around the early weeks of January!! :( Very sad. I had my hopes up that it would be this week..

I think early applicants will receive a response before Christmas. Its been like that for 2 years. A friend also told me that the would issue offers early December, but then again you never know.

For LSE I chose International Business Law and for UCL I chose Energy Law. I was disappointed that LSE does not have some sort of energy specialism.

Hi! I submitted my application to UCL on November 5th. I was curious if anyone who submitted their application around this time has already received some response? Will there be any clue on my Portico page before the actual decision?

Same question for LSE, though it sounds as though they have been less active as of now. :)

Thanks!

I submitted my application to UCL on 22 Nov and received an offer today! I'm thinking that since I chose the Energy Law specialism it might be less popular with applicants hence the fast decision making? Best wishes for you on your application!

1.What does your offer state?
2. By when do you have to reply? And have you received any scholarships?

1. Nothing specific, although I have to submit original/certified copies of my app. materials.
2. There is no deadline in the offer (they have not sent an email yet, only my app. status was changed in the LSE for You)/ I did not apply for financial assistance.

Hi Everyone! I'm from Venezuela.

My application to LSE was finally submitted last Friday (December 8th). I don't have the best chances of getting in, and I'm worried I applied too late. What do you guys think?
I know some of you have already received offers from LSE (congratulations), but has anyone been rejected so far?

I'm applying to International Business Law.

Thank you! Bye.
