I got an offer from UCL too, i m definitely going there :)

As soon as I get the letter ill inform you what u have to do next. I should receive it next wednesday. My letter was sent by regular mail but it got lost so i decided to hire dhl to brind me this letter safely due to its importance.

have you already decided in which dormitory you will stay or any choice. I am in two minds about halls including food and housing operated by ucl,without food. Also what is the allocation procedures for overseas student, any idea?

No not yeat. I was thinking about Frances Gardner House because its ensuite accommodation and self-catering. Its 20 minutes walk from UCL so i think its ok.

But i still havent receive the package with the offer letter and the accommodation information so I still have to review it an decide. I should receive it next friday by dhl. I would prefer it to be just 5 minutes walk from UCL hehe but if its not possible then its ok because I really want it o be ensuite because its way more confortable for me.

Hello every1. i rang ucl today re my application for an llm in criminal law and they said that it had been ''recommended'' by the dept that i be made an offer. the guy on the phone seemed to suggest that this meant i was home and dry. but im v nervous, now more than i ever as i didnt really think id get accepted. don't want hopes raised then dashed! any1 ever been in this situation or know someone who has?

Looks like im going ya. Rang again and was told i had an offer on condition that i get a 2 1. should not be a problem. won't fully believe it until my letter arrives however! they are so slow! where u from? u excited about it? know anything useful about accomodation?

Yes i m excited about it hehe just received my letter last friday (FINALLY) they first sent it by post on december but it got lost,,i called them on february 1 to ask them about it and they said they would send it again by post but i told them instead that i would hire DHL to pick up the envelope otherwise it might have taken another month a half or simply get lost again! the envelope has information about accommodation.
It depends on wether u want ensuite accommodation and self catering or catered.
In my case I want self catering and ensuite accommodation. I need to have my own bathroom i dont know its more private! and self catering because i like cooking and that way y could eat healthier i think :)
what would u prefer??
i m sending back my offer acceptance and the accommodation papers back for their consideration next tuesday because first i needed to attach a document they requested and thats it.
Oh by way i m from the Republic of Panama, and i'll 26 years old tomorrow February 26 :)

CongratuIations to you on being accepted and happy birthday too! I certainly agree with u on ensuite and self catering accomodation. privacy and being able to cook decent food is important. i dont know why UCL don't communicate a bit more by e mail or have an online tracking system like the lse. it would be easier on everyone's nerves i think! Im 21 and from the Republic of Ireland. Did u apply anywhere else? im on the waiting list at the LSE but i think that ucl would be even better and will accept any offer from them.

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted and for those who haven`t yet received any answer just be patient!I also sent my applications for Public International Law and Human Rights Law LLm in mid december and i just got their acceptance.I received unconditional offers from UCL, KCL and Queen Mary and now i`m not sure which one to choose.I think i`ll go for UCL or KCL.Which one is best??

Well done again all are meant to be good but iv heard ucl is the best of them. Iv applied to LSE, Edinburgh, Cambridge and Warwick as well. Apart from UCL the only I one I heard back from is Lse and im on the waiting list there as i said. Going on its reputation and the area of london it's in studying in UCL should be a real pleasure.

I already sent my Offer Reply Form yesterday as well as the scholarship application. I also completed and sent the accommodation form to UCL Residences.

I just took a look at the times university guide 2009 and at the guardian university guide 2009 and UCL has dropped some places in comparison to last years` rankings.Also, eg King`s has outranked UCL and i was just wondering why..
Also, do you know if it`s possible once you applied for a certain specialist LLM to change to another?EG i applied for Public International Law and now i`m considering taking the EU& European Public ..
