Just checked my Camsis a moment ago, jumped straight from "awaiting decision by BoGS" to "conditional offer made" and "seeking college membership" today!!

I was BoGSd only yesterday and had been UCDC right up until then.

How long do you think it will take before I receive an offer email now?

Congrats!!
I had recived the offer email the day after my status changed. Hopefully yours would too

I've been in the 'waiting approval from BGS' stage for almost two weeks now. They needed more documentation, I provided the documentation, and then they went silent.

I just called. They said they had to send my application back to the faculty because my non-law bachelor's GPA fell below the cut-off, but that the faculty had since re-approved so that I should get an offer today or tomorrow. Jolly. My hatred with Cambridge just keeps growing.

How did you know you need more documentation? Awaiting approval by BGS has been 3 weeks. I emailed GAO but they have not replied to me. I was so worried.

They contacted me and asked for something. I uploaded it that day. This was last Monday I believe.

I just called GAO. And the staff told me I would know the result today or tomorrow. But I'm not sure I will receive the result on time.

My status just jumped from Awaiting decision by BOGS to conditional offer made. Fairly certain everyone that is waiting has an offer now! Good luck.

I am stuck on the application awaiting approval stage, so I called up GAO yesterday and they told me that there is going to be a meeting today as its the end of the working week so people's status could change today to "conditional offer made".

Thank you so much for your information. This news is really exciting. I also stuck on this stage for 3 weeks. I hope our status could update today.

So I just realized that my college would be way too far from the lecture halls (supposing its Faculty of Law). I wonder why I didnt take distance into account at the time of selecting colleges. =(

You can always get a second hand bike, I know cycling is quite popular to get to lectures in Cambridge. What college do you get accepted to?

Yes, bicycle is the only feasible option.
I went for St. Edmunds because I wanted to go for a multicultural college.
What about you, which college?

Does anyone happen to know whether offer conditions that say you have to get a 1.0 in the final year mean a 1.0 across the modules you're taking in final year or your overall degree classification as my degree is calculated from an average of the second and third years. I tried emailing but have got no response :/

I've been wondering the same thing, actually. Would you be so kind as to let me know if you get a response? Thanks!

Will do! They said they'd get back to me within 5 days so given how well Cambridge keep to their response deadlines I should have an answer by August :)

I'm also accepted to St Edmunds which I chose much for the same reason, well that and avoiding crazy freshers, I'm passed that point in life and also because you have the opportunity to live in the college which you don't get for all colleges as a postgrad student. St Edmunds is only a 18 minute walk to the law faculty according to google maps so by standards its not that bad, well providing the weather isn't atrocious on any given day. Looking forward to hopefully seeing you there in October.
