Acceptance of Offer
Financial Undertaking
Cambridge College Membership (you don't need to take any action on this one).

Did that change today (ie over the weekend)? Just interested to see if changes are happening on the weekend. Also how long between being given an offer and getting a college?

They accepted me on a Friday. Each college makes a decision within 7 working days, and everybody should be allocated to a collage within three weeks from the notification of the offer.

Can someone who has already received the offer help me out with this problem? From the information provided on the self-service it seems like the deadline for accepting my offer is 31st July. Anyone else who is in the same situation?

The reason why I need someone else's confirmation is because I find it hard to believe that the deadline provided for ACCEPTING the offer is the same as the one provided for meeting the conditions.

I gave Suzanne a call last Friday and quoted my application number. She was able to give me verbal confirmation that an offer was being made but couldnt say when it would be administratively reflected on the self service page.

I got BOGSed last thursday, and my status has just changed to conditional offer made. Hope you receive yours soon!

Did you pass through the 'Application awaiting approval by BGS' stage?

I am stuck there since last Friday.

Stuck on awaiting approval by BGS as well since last Friday. I had just got bogsed on Thursday.
Anyone know if this is a good thing?

I didnt go through the "approval" stage, just from "awaiting decision" to the actual offer.

As far as I understand, the "approval" stage means either the board of graduate studies has doubts about the decision of the degree committee or asks for some guidance regarding some aspect of the offer (e.g. whether request or not english test). This stage usually takes longer to change into an offer, but at least this year, all applicants at this stage finally received an offer.

So, just a little bit more of patience and good luck to you all!

I have also gone from "the degree committee is satisfied with your application. However, your offer has not yet been approved. Awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies" to "Application awaiting approval by the Board of Graduate Studies". It is a little disconcerting...
