Sorry, Canadian1 - we must have been writing our posts at the same time. Congratulations. That is great news on the Tapp. VG funding.

I still haven't decided : (
I am supposed to decide this weekend but it is taking FOREVER for people to answer my questions (eg: what accommodation is available etc at either place).
I have funding through an external source now and my college would be Trinity. As I am doing my PhD I am not a good guide on this forum. I know the ORS awards have been announced but I am not sure if they are only for purely research students.
Canadian1 is being evasion - are you accepting the Tapp or not? In fact, have you been awarded the Tapp (your post is ambiguous).
ah, evasiveness...the lawyer's curse! Yes, I have accepted the Tapp.

That is brilliant! I have heard Caius is a really nice college albeit quite traditional.

Hi everyone!
Did anyone apply to Trinity College? Do you know anyone that was accepted there yet? I heard it is quite difficult to get in....
Any ideas on how long after the Camsis has been updated (which mine still hasn't) we find out about colleges?
Thanks so much for answers.

I have heard from Trinity but I applied for the PhD.
They took only one law LLM last year. Apparently they don't like LLMs so much because they only stick around for one year hence not contributing so much to the continuity of the community or something like that....

Thanks Flygirl
I heard that about the LLM too.....I guess too bad for me...
My second choice is Darwin college. Have you heard anything about it?
Thanks.

Oh no - but you could be the one!
I have heard Darwin is really great with an excellent bar. A friend was there a couple of years back. I think it would probably be more enjoyable than Trinity in that it is smaller with its sole focus being on graduates.

Is there anybody but me who still hasn't heard anything about the outcome of the application to Cambridge as well?

Does anybody know anything about Hughes Hall?

Homer,
I'm sure you are not the only one. I received the email about three weeks ago and my Camsis still hasn't been updated. That means, if I hadn't called them and asked about the status of my application, I would still be in your situation.
Did you try calling the LLM department and enquiring about the status of your application? They'll let you know right away if it's a "yes", a "no", or no decision yet.
Good luck:)

Just thought I'd let you know that I only found out today via email that I got accepted to Cambridge. My Camsis has not been updated though. So there is obviously still hope!

Hi everyone, i'm new to this so please bear with me! Congrats to all those who have received an offer, I received mine a few days ago. I had actually withdrawn my application back in March, but somehow still got an offer. Would very much like to accept the offer (as long as I get the grades!)

I finally was informed yesterday by e-mail, that I will (someday) receive a conditional offer. They didn't tell me anything about the conditions and my camsis has not been updated yet.

Congrats! If you're not a student, conditions are likely financial only. See you in September.
