Hello, my app status has also changed to awaiting approval by PAO. Does this def mean I’ll have an offer? Or I should save my excitement for a formal offer letter?

Just a quick q to anyone who's been paying attention to previous threads. Do you have any idea as to whether the number/volume of status changes to approval by PAO is more or less the same as in previous years? There seems to be more this year - more and sooner, so it seems.

On their website they state 90% of the decisions are made within 12 weeks. 12 weeks from 1 December is 23 February if I recall correctly. So I think they’re earlier than recent years because they gave themselves a shorter deadline this year. Assuming that PAOs tend to come before rejections, I think the number of PAOs is not extraordinary. I’m assuming many rejections and some additional PAOs will be sent out in the coming days.

Keep in mind though that there are 190 being accepted this year so given how many have actually put in here that their status has changed its not a lot out of 190, obviously not everyone whose status has changed will be on here but it gives a good idea
