Hi folks, mine also says 'Awaiting approval by PAO' - does this definitely mean we have offers?

Going off previous years, yes! Provided no fraud/lies on your application.

I hope you're right. I'm on cloud 9 right now, trying to calm myself down just in case it turns out to be some awful mistake lol.
I'm a UK applicant not an international student, which is why I think it's odd because most of the people on here saying their applications have moved to PAO are international applicants :/
I wouldn't be too worried, I am just hoping it is good news for me too. I hate the wait! I remember seeing your post on TSR and you are from a similar background to me so I am really keeping my fingers crossed...
Also, congratulations, even if the offer isn't there yet, it's a very good sign!

Any new updates today?
I observed from last year's thread that at the end of Feb 2022, rejections came with the PAO at the same time or even earlier, at least in this forum. Then, it lasted around half month, with some getting rejections, some being under review by the Department, and some moving to PAO. After that, all got rejections. This seems to be a little different from this year. This year, no person has reported rejections here, but several have already moved to PAO status.
No pressure here, but hopefully, we can have good news today and next week!

Anyone know if you get an email when decisions are communicated or do you just have to login to your account to see?

Mine was just changed Awaiting Approval from PAO about an hour or so ago

Also was talking to someone who’s in Cambridge atm and they said that last year no one saw PAO changes before 1st March that they know of and it took a few weeks to get an official acceptance but everything was v slow last year and all over the place. I read on some discussion board yesterday that this year everything is apparently on track so could be about 10 days from now.

Congratulations for those whose status moved to PAO!!
Today the PAO movement are slowing down a little bit, which means they’ve already got the majority of the first excellent batch (regarding previous years’ process). I think they will start sending out rejections next week whilst the PAO thing will be dragged to March. Finger crossed to everyone.

I know people have already asked and answered this but if you’ve moved to PAO status is there any chance that you won’t get an acceptance?

Bit optimistic to assume you'll hear something by February at the latest. Their 'top' candidates will often receive their offers a bit earlier than the rest, which would be around mid Feb (in which case they might move to PAO on their portal as early as the beginning of February). The majority won't move to PAO until the beginning of March or so, with conditional offers arriving around mid-March.

Hello friends! To distract you all during this stressful time, would anyone be willing to give thoughts on chances? I’m anticipating my profile will look like this: graduating Harvard Law School in ’24, expect to be at the upper end of cum laude (like 3.8/4, ranked at about the top 20th percentile), three D.S. awards (go to the top student’s exam in a course), editor in chief of a lower-end journal, fair summer experience, no publications, and will be spending my 3rd year also part time consulting for an international NGO (basically writing a research paper for publication. Courses a bit all over the place in terms of content, and no independent writing. One good recommender, one fair one. Any thoughts? Pipe dream? Thank you all :)

Congratulations megster1! I remembered chatting with you on TSR as well. I'm getting really nervous right now, because I didn't rank in the very top of my cohort. (Btw I'm the first one replying to your thread in November)
