Cambridge LL.M. Applicants 2023-2024

P! So doesn’t seem like it. My first name is also quite in the middle of the alphabet, so seems unlikely that they’re moving alphabetically.

Okay. Thank you so much.

Hello, my app status has also changed to awaiting approval by PAO. Does this def mean I’ll have an offer? Or I should save my excitement for a formal offer letter?

Happy for you! Could you please let me know whether you applied straight out of uni or do you have some work ex? Also, which university in India?

thank you, but I think all is open till an offer. I have work ex of about 4 years, and I’m from an NLU

Just wondering what the next movement is after “application is under review by the department”?

If you move to "awaiting approval by PAO," it's very likely that you will get an offer.

And are there any other updates in between these two?

The internet says that this year all the decisions should be made within 1st March. Which means we have just a week to go. I am worried.

It's taking too long I guess. I think I've already missed it but I just want to wait for the final rejection email.

Have they started giving out rejection emails? Anyone who has received it?

It would seem that way, I am fully sure that I have been rejected now...

Yeah, feeling that too. Basically every email I get now gives me a jolt...

I just hope to get some news soon. I know it won't be as bad as last year, but a friend I have who got in last year didn't hear until 24th April...

The only thing giving me slight hope is that there are no rejections yet. I am praying that mine (and many others') applications are sat on a desk waiting to be approved.

From speaking to those who got in from previous years, reading freedom of information requests, and browsing old threads. If you have done all you can (top of class, work experience, scholarships and prizes), you should have an offer on the way. If you don't get one, it's not a reflection on yourself, it is just a matter of their being a lot of fantastic applicants that year.

Slightly interesting, reading the FoI requests, there are a good amount of people who apply with 2:2 classification degrees, what a way to waste £65! However, I suppose God loves a trier.

I still have hope for us all, if we want it this badly, surely it should come. (Despite my pessimistic messages previously)

When I see it, I'll believe it. It's out of our hands now.... just wish they'd move it along.

Decisions are made by first of March but that doesn't mean we will definitely hear definitively by then, I emailed them to confirm this and they said it could take a while before offers are communicated.

Hi! Does anyone know what are the requirements to meet when Cambridge gives conditional offers? Thanks in advance!
