Cambridge LL.M. Applicants 2023-2024

Thanks! This is helpful. I wonder why some applicants that were PAO'd before the 16th already got their offers. Perhaps they're in the home pile rather than the overseas?

It's strange because I'm a home student and I still haven't had mine but people PAO'd a week or so after me have???

I did notice that a few of the people who received offers slightly quicker were internal Cambridge students but not sure if that has any relevance

yeah I’m one of those people - and I’m sure that is the case, especially where you’re opting to stay at your same college (as colleges often take internal students if they receive a faculty offer)

I’m quite sure most people who moved around the 16th of February (like myself) will be getting an email today.&nbsp;
<br><br>Have Cambridge confirmed this?
<br><br>Not exactly, but this would indicate that it shouldn't be long now&nbsp;<br><br>"We are currently&nbsp;processing offers of admission where recommendations have entered our worklist on 16/02. This is when the degree committee would have updated the system that they wish to recommend you for an offer.We will update this article as regularly as we can.Thanks again for your patience.<br>

I've got a question if someone can help me: If I haven't submitted my IELTS test along with the application, do they expect me to submit it in order to receive an offer? I moved to PAO on February15th, and I wonder whether this is the reason I have not received anything yet.

Highly likely that they will ask you to submit it as part of the conditions.

I don't think so. I am surprised you moved to PAO without handing in IELTS, I thought it was necessary. Anyway, I am on PAO with valid IELTS and have not heard back, so you'll be fine, too.

They will still give you an offer and set the language requirement as an offer condition. Depending on your circumstances, they might give you the free Language Centre test instead (thus saving 300 pounds or whatever it is that they charge now). I don't know how common it is for LLM students to get this offered since you wouldn't have had an interview during your application process, though.

Just received my offer! I was PAO'd on 15 February. Good luck everyone and thanks so much for all the support and companionship!

Congratulations! Did you get an email or did your status change? In previous threads I saw that some people got to know via status change and received an email only days later.

Thank you. I checked the portal first and 1 hour later received an e-mail with the official offer and further information.

FYI, my offer condition is just to upload a coloured PDF of my transcript - for some reason I scanned it in black and white.

Thanks so much. And if you don't mind me asking, are you a home student or overseas? I am an international student and was PAO'd around the 14th-15th.

Again, judging by previous years' threads, this was quite common. Emails came days later.
