I've also submitted an application - from Australia.
From the look of last year's threads, nobody's status changed to 'under consideration by department' until the first week of January, and then a HUGE wait.
I wonder what actually *happens* for the entirety of December/why the Cambridge deadline is so early compared to Oxford/others.

mine too - and it's quite weird because the statuses had all changed last year by this time... maybe covid-19 is messing with their schedules?

I think they do it as per surname - at least that's my recollection based on previous years thread, so it should be a matter of few days, for the status to change to 'under review'.
