Last year 28/02/20 Friday, I received my rejection from Cambridge University.
So today will be a big day for me lol.
Just out of interest (testing a theory) , those still under review, in which country did you do your undergrad?
To add last year towards the end of the cycle there were some rejections and approvals.
I anticipate that most rejections will be sent out by 1st March but could be different this year due to Covid-19.
Also to those who are unhappy with their rejection. Applicants are strong every year, there are cases where an applicant has been rejected one year, taken a year out and done nothing then applied the following and been accepted.
So in no way does a rejection mean you are not good enough to gain admission.
It just means for whatever reason, Cambridge University decided for that particular year you were not what they were looking for.
Just don't live your life thinking you weren't good enough for Oxybridge because we all are and our profiles reflect this.
My first choice referee, a highly established academic actually refused to give a reference because he openly has a personal vendetta against Oxybridge. To the point where I had to talk him out of ringing up Cambridge and lambasting the admissions team for their criteria.
So don't be that person.
And if you feel resentful or jealous towards others for getting in or inadequate because you didn't get in then just keep on applying. Even if you never plan on going, just keep applying for your own piece of mind if it helps.
