Does anybody know when we will receive an official offer, after having received the mail from Suzanne Wade?

Man, looking at ‘under review by department’ sure is tiring, especially with the knowledge everything will be out by Friday! Tempted to log out of everything until Friday. How is everyone else passing the time?

I have received the email from Mrs Wade on the 5th, but my status hasn't changed on the portal yet. Am I the only one in that case? I'm stressed that it would be a mistake.

Weird question, but does anyone have an idea of how many offers Cambridge gives out in comparison to the amount that accepts. I am of the opinion that the LLM demands might be less this year due to Brexit, could be a reason why most of the uk universities increased the fees by 5k?

Also, if you do not mind my asking. Might anybody else be rejecting the offer for an american ivy or any other top universities?

My application status still reads "under review by department". I haven't heard from Cambridge so far, but since someone in this thread mentioned that decisions will be sent until Friday, I keep my hopes up.

A colleague of mine who attended the Cambridge LLM programme two years ago said that (apparently) decisions are usually announced to students in alphabetical order, which might be the reason that I haven't received the e-mail so longed-for as of yet.

Not true. Decisions are dealt with in batches with no reference whatsoever to alphabetical order. Both times I accepted offers from Cambridge, I was among the first people to receive offers. And yes, my name starts with letters somewhere in the bottom half of the alphabet.

My status in the Applicant Portal just changed to 'Awaiting approval by GAO'. I received an offer on Monday via email

I haven't. But from what I've seen from the other users is that from 7PM onwards there's a boom of results being released. So let's see if something happens in :30 mins.

Sorry to hear that, but you already have offers for such a good universities. In a first view, I would go for LSE, but your decision should include other factors as scholarships, reputation on your country, your career plans, etc.

Not the one addressed here, but portal changed to "Unsuccessful" and got the *System-Generated* rejection e-mail.
