Has anyone contacted the department today re: the outstanding applications or heard anything via email?

no email..
nothing.

Very frustrating indeed. I have already called twice so wouldn't like to do so again - they may think I am harassing them!

I assume that the vast majority of the people who haven't heard yet have not been accepted (including myself)...which makes is very difficult to understand why it is taking so long for notifications to be sent.

In the same position - already called them last week, don't want to do it again - let's hope they will send the e-mails by the end of today.

I hope so too. If not, then lets hope someone who hasn't called them yet gives it a go and then lets us know what they are saying today.

So, my friend has just called the Board of Graduate Studies. He was told that all decisions have already been taken. They took my friend's detailes and promised to send him an email this afternoon.
My friend told me that
+44 (0) 1223330034 is the number which is dealing specifically with LLM applications. Anyone curious can call. I guess i will try my chance.

I understand that Cambridge sends rejections and admissions emails at the same time. So if you have not received an email either way, you're not likely rejected as yet.

Also, it does not make sense for the BGS to LIE about the fact they were still in the process of reviewing applications up until last week. No conspiracy theories needed. The real story is likely that only a few people were tasked to do the reviews, and it took longer than originally expected.

Guys this is a bad joke....I just called and they told me that "almost" decisions were took already, and that they will send me an e-mail "during" the week!

They must not be aware of such things as LLM guide where people can communicate the inconsistent things being said.

It does indeed look like a bad joke - or do they really think we have extra 6 months to wait???

I also called. The lady took my application number+email address and promised to send me an email today or tomorrow.
This is really enough.

Seriosly this is insane....I called on Friday and gave my e-mail to the lady (she told me that today I would be receiving the answer), and I called today and the lady asked my e-mail again!!!!!!!! and said that I will receive the answer by the end of the week!! I quit!

Cambridge is a scandal this year, that's for sure - I hope they will learn on their mistakes and change their policy next year.

Haven't heard anything today - won't be suprised if this does not end by Friday, especially taking into acccount that one of posts a couple of weeks ago contained infor received from LLM Secretary that the results may be declared in the firts week of May only!
