Not news at all.......furthermore, I just called and they told me that I "should look in the application online website, and that if it says applicant is because no decision has been reach yet"......insane in the brain!!!!!!

This is fairly ridiculous.I just called a few moments ago, the lady just said that If I didnt receive any e-mail, is because my application was refused. Im so mad and frustrated, what a lousy and confused application process, I bet they chose candidates randomly at the last hour.

so does it mean, all ppl who do not received any e-mail so far have been rejected?

I suggest that all of you do not panic - nothing is lost till we get the rejection letter - at the end of the day, some people received those letters yet in January plus the chaotic system in Cam when their declaration contradict themselves makes me think there is no logic there at all.

It's odd for Cambridge to say that those who have not received an email are rejected given they have been sending out admissions and rejections at the same time all along: ie: once they've reviewed your app, you're in or you're out, and they communicate that immediatedly.

I contacted the department this morning and they said that if you have note received word yet, this does not necessarily mean you have been rejected. I did get the impression though, that it is very likely that you have - as the number that are still being considered is very small.

No I am afraid not. They said that they would let 'me' know by tomorrow - but I don't know whether this applies to every applicant; or whether they will stick to this. They did say the only reason that emails have not gone out earlier is the number of applications received.

I have received an e-mail from Cambridge, in which the assistant said that the Admissions Committee was still considering my file, and she promised to help me to get my decision on Monday.
