Has anyone heard anything yet?

I haven't heard anything from the faculty, but I just received an e-mail concerning an invitation to apply for a hefce scholarship. Has anyone else received this e-mail too?

Did you apply for BCL or MJur?

Thanks for your responses! I am not sure whether this e-mail is linked to my application, or whether it is send to everybody that meets the other criteria (economic background, etc.). I will send them an e-mail and will post the reply here!

Btw, I applied for the MJur, but I am not sure whether this e-mail is linked to my application or not!

I received the same e-mail as AnneeeL!! Did you guys receive the same e-mail?

I'm having mixed feelings, it can be a sign of having gotten in or not... for now I'll keep my hopes down.

I just received this e-mail:

Thank you for your e-mail. We are currently inviting applicants to apply to for this scholarship who we believe may be eligible for funding.
Unfortunately we are unable to advise you on the status of your application, but you may wish to wait until you know the outcome of your application before you submit the scholarship questionnaire.

On the other hand, the website says the following:
If you are made an initial offer of a place on an eligible course you will be contacted by email and offered the opportunity to apply for an Oxford Graduate Scholarship

I've got mixed feelings too..

I think it's safe to say that you have an offer. It would be absurd otherwise to invite you to apply for the scholarship.

Got the funding invitation email today. No information on the application itself though.

I'm not from the UK, so it seems that these funding offers have gone to UK students primarily so far (not sure)

It just seems silly that they would start inviting us to apply for scholarships when the outcome of our application is unknown!

Hmm I am not sure about that, since I was one of the first ones that received the e-mail, but I am from the Netherlands... I hope the e-mail is a good sign.. fingers crossed!!

Very sorry to hear that. May I ask, did you receive the funding email before the rejection?
