My thought is that by now we should have already received an answer...it seems that this year the admission process is taking a bit longer. Anyway, it will be today or next week, no doubt about that.

@preign!
Man, my inbox is full and I cannot send private messages anymore:(
Here is my reply to your query. I'll give you my opinion on differences between the two (Ox and Cam), pros and cons and then ultimately you have to decide for yourself.
You might have seen from my application tracker that I did not apply to Oxford for MJur. The reasons for this are threefold: firstly, MJur (despite being an amazing graduate program in Law) is heavily packed course that requires daily work on reading, literature analysis and an essay once in every three to four days. This is first hand knowledge from one of my close friends (we have been friends from high school, studied together, mooted together etc.) who was awarded 1st class honors and the award for the best student in his MJur class 3 years ago. I inquired with other people who did the course and it seems that weekly workload is rather depressing and that this info is accurate. Secondly, this leaves substantially less time to socialize with your LLM class and meet all the amazing people who are studying at the University at the same time you are. For me, this is one of the best things that LLM can give you and networking for your future job or another academic program is essential. Finally, I prefer having some time to spend in the library for independent academic research then being obliged to focus only on mandatory essays and writing assignments.
Cambridge, on the other hand gives more free time in the beginning and throughout but leaves you rather depressed at the end when the exam period is approaching:)... This is confirmed by my friends who did an LLM at Cam and had their close friends doing MJur in Oxford at the same time, giving them a good comparable ground.
In any event, you cannot go wrong with any of the schools you choose. These universities belong to the group of oldest and most prestigious academic institutions in the world so it is really up to a personal preference :)
Let me know via private message if you want to know more and leave your email so that I can send you a proper message!
Cheers,

Anyone received any word yet on colleges and/or scholarships?
Posted Mar 24, 2014 12:00
Some colleges have already started sending out letters - at least Sommerville and Wolfson, as it seems from the posts in the FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/bcl.mjur/
Posted Mar 26, 2014 15:39
Yep - it seems from that thread Somerville, Wolfson and St Hugh's. Anyone received word from any others?
Posted Mar 28, 2014 08:54
Has anyone heard from Balliol?
Posted Mar 28, 2014 10:58
Nope - I also named them as my preferred college.
