Hi all,
I'v been following a couple of the forums on here for a while now, just after I applied for the LLM at Cambridge, but didnt sign up as I wasnt really expecting to be offered anything. But today I received an email from Cambridge offering me a place, so im pretty happy atm and just wanted to share it with you guys.
Good luck to all applicants, wishing you all the best.

Congratulations to everybody! I'm very happy too sincei received my conditional offer this afternoon! Again congratulations to everybody and good luck (and patience) to all those awaiting!!

I got a conditional as well but I am still kind of nervous with regards to what grade I must achieve in my finals given that the person that came first in my class last year got 69.9% Anyone have any idea what the standard condition will be- 70%?
Posted Jan 06, 2010 17:53
Same here! I am also a bit worried about the standard.... hope it won't be too high. I would also appreciate it if anyone can help us out!
And congratulations again to all of you!!

hey,
For the guys worried about overall percentage and how high the grades should be, in my circumstance I certainly wasnt ranked 1st in my class. hopefully that means even if you are bang on 70% you have a fighting chance. i hope that allieviates some of your worries.
In addition, do people wanna share what colleges they applied too and are hoping to get into?
I applied to Darwin.

I applied to Trinity Hall...does it make much difference?
Posted Jan 06, 2010 21:31
Dont think so, i chose Darwin because its a postgraduate college, and more importantly, the closest to the law faculty...just a stroll around the corner into lectures.

Thanks for the relief london_student, I really need it during this eternal wait. In any case congratulations not only on the offer but also for the timing as it means your applications was very strong. I hope we would be able to celebrate it in some pub in Cambridge in spring.. and the best luck to everyone and lots of patience that I am personally running out of :))))

I also got an offer and was extremely suprised to say the least. I definitely wasn't first in my class. I was expecting to be rejected or offered a place at the last minute.
So it just goes to show you can't really tell what will happen...

llmhopeful1986, share with us your background please?

are there any boys or girls that got an offer and who are from the netherlands or the balkans?
Posted Jan 08, 2010 21:35
Hey guys!
I also got a conditional offer from Cambridge. I am thrilled and really surprised as I didn't expect to hear from them soon, at least not until March, to be honest!
What wonders me now is the conditions, as I haven't received the formal letter yet.
Does anyone know whether we should pass an interview before being completely accepted? It may be a silly question, but I must confess I am a little anxious and confused about this.
