I have been admitted to Tilburg, Maastricht, Rotterdam, Groningen and waiting for Leiden´s reply. Which one is the best to do a Master in European/ International Law? (in terms of good reputation, well-recognised round the world...) All those rankings and reports are a bit misleading, so I gotta make up my mind as soon as p. Any tips will be welcome, thanks a bunch

I have been also accepted to Ghent University for the Master in European and Comparativ Law. How does it compare this Uni to the others? Is it better to study in Belgium for this kind of programme?

Salut
I have been admitted to the LLM in European Law at both Leiden and Utrecht universities. I guess that among the Dutch unis, your choice should be between Leiden and Maastricht. The former has a better overall reputation and seems to be good at EU Law. The latter seems to focus more or less exclusively on EU Law, which may be better regarded among specialist lawyers.
I really don't know about Ghent, but I've heard that Belgian unis are excellent in European Law (probably better than most Dutch unis). I did not apply there because as a French student, I was looking for a country really different from France, but had I not been French, I would certainly have tried to get in a Belgian university.
Maybe you should ask to a specialised lawyer/professor, because I guess that all three unis (Leiden, Maastricht and Ghent) are good in EU Law.
Bonne chance!

Thanks a lot for your clear response Etienne. I think you are right, Belgium is a good bet. I am Spanish and currently learning french in Brussels, and I really like this country to spend a year. I was considering among Dutch Unis Tilburg or Groningen due to the characteristics of their programs, but Ghent Uni seems quite good as well.

hi I have been admitted to Maastricht and been grantedd a scholarship too for the Globalisation and Law programme. I have this confusion about the weightage that this course carries in the international job scenario.. is it a good option to go for.
my concerns are mounted by the fact that the course lays more stress on EU law and not really international

I have been accepted to the LLM European Law both in Maastricht and in Leiden. I know its not an easy choice to make so if any of you has some more specific info regarding the two schools it will be of great help.
thanks
