I have also applied for this program. Anyone received confirmation mail? I had sent an email to admissions department two day's back, however did not receive any reply. Also checked online status and the same is still pending. Please post here if anyone received confirmation mail.

In my registration status, it is showing "pending".

In past forums for this course, the applicants mentioned by WIPO/Turin announce student list by May mid. Is that right?

Well I was informed that persons who are selected for the scholarship from WIPO will be notified by the end of April and others can check their status using their portal. If you applied directly to TURIN, then they should have contacted you by now if all your documents were in, that is if you applied early.

I called the WIPO today and was informed that all the successful candidates for scholarship have been communicated already. In case anyone did not hear from them, that means their application wasn't successful.

Status of mine - Unsuccessful.

Hey sorry to hear that. I have not received any communication and the status of mine is still saying pending on the WIPO website.
Was it on WIPO website you seeing unsuccessful? Also who did you speak to when you called WIPO?

The lady who picked up the call tried connecting me to several people who would have information about the scholarship applications. And when I finally got through, the lady didn't tell me her name.

Today, I received mail stating that my scholarship status is updated on web-portal. This was reply to my earlier enquiry e-mail.

Did we have to apply on both portal, i.e. University of Turin and WIPO or only either of them would have sufficed?

I had applied to only WIPO portal. Does this mean I cannot go via self-financed route now?

And do you know the future prospects of this course ? Do they expect us to go back to native country and expand its horizon? As each country have their own testing system to be qualified as patent agent/attorney..
