KU Leuven or Maastricht?

Hi,

I need some assistance in relation to the LLM in International and European Public Law at KU Leuven or either the Masters in European Law at Maastricht programmes.

1. Academically which is the best? My goal is to find employment with an EU institution in the area of home affairs, justice, human rights or civil liberties.

2. What are the university law faculties like? Which are more international? I understand that both programmes are in English but would it be difficult for a non-dutch speaker.

3. Which university would you think is best?

4. Do you maybe recommend any other programmes at other EU universities focusing on EU law and human rights conjointly.

Thanks in advance

KU Leuven's Law Faculty is ranked 25th worldwide (THE 2021) - Maastricht 34th. Leuven, near Brussel with a lot of EU and international institutions, is a truly international environment.
