My essay was about methodogical issues in legal history, namely, what are the benefits of comparative legal history, and how sociology of knowledge could help us in understanding legal realist revolution. I contrasted my own approach with that of two Harvard legal historians: Morton J. Horwitz and Duncan Kennedy. It may sound impressive, but the truth is, the essay itself is not that impressive. I wrote it very quickly, and it did not turn out that well. If I make it to HLS, it won't be because of that essay.
