I also follow the people who voted for GEORGETOWN. They are simply wonderful, caring and friendly!

Well, it's not a US school, but Leiden University (Netherlands) was very good too. Ms. Heleen Oostebrink at the International Office was very helpful and prompt at returning emails. Dr Wildenburg at the Faculty of Law was very sweet and gave me the good news over the phone!

All and all, the admission process at Leiden was pretty painless. Although they don't use electronic applications and you can't check your status online, they do email a letter of receipt and the decision and are very willing to check your status over the phone.

I vote for Georgetown.

The only school who warned me they didn't receive my toefl score report before the deadline, who always answered quickly to queries.

Plus they really try to be nice (greetings christmas card, handwritten note on the admission letter).

The other schools admission committees were efficient too...except NYU, who never answered to any mails.

What did they write on your admission notice?

Georgetown has a great way of handling things (plus they admitted me, which doesn't hurt at all!).
However, I'd like to praise Harvard admissions office: I had a problem with my application fee and they helped me promptly and kindly.

@ Kris1984:

They didn't write much: just "congratulations" in my native language and "I hope you choose to come to Georgetown, Caryn "

It's nothing, but Ms Voland took the time to write it hundreds of time, I guess, and I think it makes the letter more personal.

I definitely vote for Georgetown. Ms Voland is the most efficient person I got to know throughout the applications process.

NYU was a disappointment. They never got back to my e-mails.

@ifgivenachance: what's your native language? "congratulations" in my native language is too much to ask for from Ms. Voland :)
