University of Michigan LLM 2021-2022

Hey everyone,

I have applied to the University of Michigan's LLM program starting Fall 2021. I have also applied for the Grotius Scholarship.

I submitted my application in December 12 and have received an email confirming that my file is complete this week.

Has anyone else applied/received any decision letters from U-Mich or any other correspondence about the LLM program?

Hi Lespassos, 

I also applied for an LLM at the University Of Michigan. Yesterday I received an e-mail stating that upon initial review they found very much to admire, but that an extra letter of recommendation from one of my supervisors at one of my internships would be very helpful to them (I do not have any work experiences besides internships). I do not know wether this is a good sign or a bad sign.

I also think it is a good sign. Seems like they are interested in your profile but just a need a little bit of background in order to make a decision. Fingers crossed!

Yes, I applied early December and haven't heard from them since other than an email stating that my app is complete and we can expect admission results in late March(really hope it wouldn't take that long though)

I submitted three letters originally. With the letter of my supervisor at my internship they now have four.

They said in the app complete email that results will be out in late March or mid April at the latest.

Do we expect them to release results earlier?
