Mich has a small quality program (but that's mostly true for tax). NYU is second to none, in terms of prestige in New York, you should take NYU probably.

Some one told me that if you go for acedemic study, Umich is the answer, if you prefer to remain as a lawyer, then NYU is better.

As far as I know NYU is second to none in Tax and in International Affairs, in Corporate I am not quite sure if it is better than UMich.
Anyway there is another thread in which this subject matter has already been taken into consideration, try to have a look!

I've contacted some students who are currently studying in UMich and I could tell that they liked this school a lot. It might be true that I will never regret for whatever I choose from these two schools.

I agree. Both are excellent, the question should be more of personal taste to the region, money, friends, weather, and so on. But NYU has the edge because of its location I'd believe.
